the two most standard applications on all of nokia’s series 40 devices are the world clock and converter. aside from improving their functionality and user experience, the styling was upgraded to be more engaging and inline with the modern brand. these two applications have been pre-installed on millions of handsets. the premium 8800 shown next is a sample of product-specific java applet design. in addition to unique versions of world clock and converter, more exclusive applications were included, such as the chess application shown here. I managed art direction and asset delivery for the full suite of 8800 applications.
